The design of the 41,400 sq. ft. addition to Service Building C to accommodate the  Data Center required carefully balancing the site’s historical significance with the requirements of a technologically sophisticated use. As a result, the Building expansion has been designed to blend with the existing Service Building Complex, while introducing a contemporary architectural statement which compliments many design features of the existing building architecture.  Flexible, open department spaces were provided to maximize use by potential future user groups. The project received LEED Silver Certification.
