The 43,000 square foot world headquarters for the Mapinfo Corporation, located in the Rensselaer Technology Park, was constructed to accommodate the corporate offices for the company recognized by Inc. Magazine as the 23rd fastest growing company in America in 1993. Crisp detailing implementing  reflective glass curtainwall and sleek metal panels define the architecture for this technologically advanced global competitor in the software industry. Mapinfo's phenomenal growth inspired the master planning of a three phase 410,000 square foot building complex including a 10 story tower overlooking the Hudson Valley.  Confidently looking to the future, the 60,000 square foot first phase was constructed in 1995 for the Mapinfo Product Developers, providing a dynamic, inspiring, technologically sophisticated environment for the creation of Mapinfo software.  In 2002, the second phase of the masterplan, a four story 150,000 square foot headquarters facility was added to the 60,000 square foot first phase.  A four story atrium with tiered balconies, overlooking the Hudson Valley, is the centerpiece of the complex that unifies the new and existing facilities.
