Katie Doherty Veterans Village is an energy efficient, two-story, 9,200 square foot facility that provides permanent, independent living for homeless female veterans. The building program includes 14 unique, one-bedroom apartment configurations such that each resident has their own sense of "home." The facility features amenities such as a communal meeting room for residents and staff counselors, communal laundry, walking path that provides independent access to each of the first floor units, and an outdoor patio.
